Why Choose KeferMusic?
Why Choose KeferMusic?
Music Lessons Informed by Classroom Experience
Private lessons are more than learning an instrument—they're an opportunity to build skills, confidence, and a strong foundation for making music. Chris Kefer's experience as a public-school music educator helps him understand the expectations students face in school music programs while still tailoring each lesson to the individual student.
Students and families choose KeferMusic for:
Personalized, supportive instruction tailored to each student's needs, goals, and experience level
Strong musical fundamentals, including technique, reading music, rhythm, tone, and music theory
Experience that connects private lessons to school music programs, helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to participate and succeed in ensemble settings
In-person lessons in Severna Park or online for added convenience
A focus on lasting musicianship and enjoyment, not simply getting through each lesson
